Summary
Consolidation works carried out at Halton Castle in 1997 allowed recording of the Curtain Wall to the south west of the Tower on the northern side of the Upper Bailey Curtain Wall. A blocked pointed arched doorway survives. The Castle ruins are Grade I listed and the site is a Scheduled Monument .
