Name:Peel Hall Garden

Summary

Mid-late 17th century garden at Peel Hall. Consisted of circular mound c.100m South-east of hall,surrounded by poss water-filled ditch, crossed north west by 2-arched bridge, giving access to mound. Description from 1897 refers to mound as 'circular raised plot of land measuring 50ft in circumference' and also mentions a summer house or gazebo on summit.
