Summary

Scheduled Monument which consists of two moated platforms and associated field systems. The larger of two shows remains of a building platform surrounded by ridge and furrow. The smaller platform is the site of the moated manor house. Southley Manor is first recorded around 1305 and a Southley Hall is mentioned in 1494. There are further areas of ridge and furrow and more possible house platforms on higher ground to the east of the moated platforms.
