Excavation at Oversley Farm 1997-1998 in advance of runway expansion at Mancester Airport
The Early Neolithic at Oversley Farm comprised evidence for at least one small rectangular timber structure, within which were two possible cooking pits, a flint scatter and the hollow way. The site also produced ceramic and lithic artefacts indicative of domestic activity and charred cereals indicating small scale crop production.
